Wade Legal is a Brisbane CBD based law firm providing property and commercial legal advice.

Wade Legal represents various private and publicly listed corporations, small to medium businesses and individuals.

Wade Legal is operated by its director Roger Wade LLB.  Roger has over 17 years experience as a solicitor in Queensland and the United Kingdom. During this time Roger has worked in private practice for medium and large law firms and as legal counsel for Maidstone Borough Council UK, Matilda Fuel Supplies and Brisbane Airport Corporation. Roger is also an author for Lexis Nexis, a global legal publication service that provides practical guidance by lawyers for lawyers.

Roger is admitted to practise as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He is also a member of the Queensland Law Society.

Roger has been involved in the following recent matters:

  • Brisbane Airport Leasing - Acted for various investors/lessees of property at Brisbane Airport including providing comprehensive advice on airport specific issues.
  • Sale of a Pharmacy Business. Acted for the seller of a successful Qld pharmacy located in Bundaberg.
  • Lease of 36 strata titled motel units. Acted for the motel owner, in one transaction all units were leased to the one tenant as well as the grant of a service contract over common property of the body corporate.
  • Sale of Commercial Premises. Acted for various purchasers and sellers in the acquisition or sale of commercial premises.
  • Body Corporate Advice. Advice to body corporate on transfer and variation of management rights and compliance with body corporate legislation.
  • Off the Plan Contracts. Representing multiple purchasers, providing timely advice and management of files, in relation to purchase of 'off the plan' units in significant developments throughout Queensland.
  • Service Contract for National Training Provider. Preparation of bespoke service contract for a national training provider that adequately dealt with complex insurance and indemnity issues.
  • Construction Contract Advice. Acting for principal, providing advice and a settlement deed with builder in relation to domestic works valued in excess of $1.5 million.
  • Qantas Catering Facility Lease at Brisbane Airport. Preparation of bespoke agreement to lease and leases dealing with the transition of Qantas from existing catering facility to new.  Extensive negotiation of terms and co-ordination with multiple parties re location of site, works to be undertaken by the parties, sub-tenancies, potential contamination issues, time lines etc.
  • AFP Development Agreement and Lease at Brisbane Airport. Preparation of development agreement and long term lease in relation to office building to be constructed by the Australian Federal Police. Extensive negotiation of terms with government tenant. Green lease and building performance energy rating issues.
